After finishing the Gymnasium in Breda (the Netherlands) I finished my MSc Biotechnology at Wageningen University in 1990.
At Witteveen+Bos I designed many small and large waste water treatment plants and drinking water production plants. In 1998 DHV gave me the opportunity to manage projects, people and profit in a broad spectrum of sustainable and innovative water management subjects. In 2005 I started DeSaH BV to develop innovative decentral sanitation technology, together with WUR-MT and several other partners in Sneek.
And in 2006 I started my own company Bareau BV, for the technological development of the innovative technology Autogenerative High Pressure Digestion (AHPD). It is a new way to recover energy from waste water, and to produce green gas in 1 step!
