The Venlo region is the first in the world to have embraced the principles of Cradle to Cradle. The most important example is the city hall of Venlo: in 2008, the municipality decided to build this new city hall in line with circular C2C principles.
The municipality of Venlo organizes a Cradle to Cradle (C2C) year from October 2016 to October 2017. The kickoff for the year started with the opening of the municipal office. Various activities are organized throughout the year of C2C. The Cradle to Cradle Congress Venlo is going to be the highlight of the year.
At the congress, the municipality wants to set a good example: to drive innovation in business and bind (young) talent to the region.
